Who says craft is only for rainy days? Yesterday the sun was out and we( My daughter and I) decided to go out and explore our surroundings for different types of leaves.
We washed and dried those leaves first and then started out on our leaf fishes.
1. We first painted a plain white A4 sheets with blue water colours and added some green and yellow along the sides for water algae and flora
2. We then played around with leaves by placing them on the paper to find the best fit for fishes and then used glue to stick them.
3. Then came the drawing of fins, faces, tails with a marker and our leafy fish aquarium picture is complete!
This is a very easy and great way to engage your child for a whole morning. Let the leafy time begin!
