Paper Roll Butterfly

Since we still had a few empty paper rolls lying around at home, we decided to  make these butterflies or moths. I stuck to the same color theme as the kids end up going to war when presented with too many choices. You can choose any color you want.

All of them loved it and it was good exercise for the small fingers and hands, to apply glue and then pick up and paste small bits of paper.

Steps

1. Collect paper rolls or empty plastic bottles and roll them in color paper of your choice.
2. Use contruction paper to cut out wings. Since I wanted to prolong the activity and make it more interesting I cut them out in two sizes and layered them.
3. Finish it by assembling the above and drawing eyes and nose.
